King Nebuchadnezzar built a gold statue, ninety feet high and nine feet thick. He set it up Dura plain in the province of Babylon and sent out a decree-“Attention ye citizens of Babylon, when you hear the band strike up their musical instruments you fall on your knees and worship and anyone who doesn’t shall be thrown into the roaring furnace”
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego; three jaws that Nebuchadnezzar had set in high positions in the province full of faith and courage unflinching refused to bow to the King’s god. Furious and irate, Nebuchadnezzer enquired of them and ordered that they be thrown into the burning Fiery Furnace!
This is the story of the fearless three; who in the face of adversity refuses to betray their trust and commitment to Jehovah-The only True God. The God who rescues, who delivers; the most high who rules in the kingdom of men.
