For many years Israel was subjected to tyranny and cruelty under Sisera, the commander of the army of Jabin, the king of Canaan.

Sisera tormented and made life miserable for the Israelites for twenty years. Finally, they cried to the Lord for help, and He sent them a woman by the name, Deborah to lead them into battle against the Canaanites.

This is the story of Deborah, a Prophetess, a woman of courage and faith who led God’s people to a battle of an impossible victory.
